PURPOSE:To eliminate a shock in time of reacceleration as well as to improve a rate of fuel consumption, by locking up a transmission in time of deceleration and, when a car is reaccelerated from that state, releasing the lockup for the specified time long. CONSTITUTION:A transmission is locked up at a time when a throttle valve comes into a state of being fully closed, while its lockup is released for the specified time long from that point that it varies from the full-closed state to an open state. With this constitution, since a torque variation becomes smoothed at an interval of the specified time from that point of reacceleration, a shock in time of reacceleration is eliminable. In addition, time for a fuel cut comes longer so that rate of fuel consumption is improved. |
