PURPOSE:To eliminate the damage of the O ring furnished to the main body of a spool, and to prolong the life of the titled water purifier by abutting continuously the main body of the spool against the continuous part leading from the large-bore part to the small-bore part and a spool sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal water passage 7c having a large-bore part 7f and a small-bore part 7g is furnished to the main body 7 of a body constituting a body part 3, and the small-bore part 7g is communicated with a cartridge part 4. The large-bore part 7f is opened to the outside of the main body 7. A vertical water passage 7d is provided to the main body 7 and communicated with the large- bore part 7f. The main body 21 of a spool equipped with an O ring 25 is arranged freely movable so that the flow in a horizontal water passage 7c may be changed over by the selective contact of the main body with the continuous part 7h leading from the large-bore part 7f to the small-bore part 7g and with a spool sleeve 20. Accordingly, the damage of the O ring 25 can be eliminated, and the life of the water purifier can be prolonged remarkably.
