PURPOSE:To control the turning direction of a main spindle smoothly and precisely and to reduce the cost of a program by specifying the rotational frequency of the main spindle and the turning direction by the same S code and processing an M function (auxiliary function) to be cooperated with said command in one block. CONSTITUTION:In sequence No.10, the main spindle is reversed (rotation in the counterclockwise direction) at 1,000rpm e.g. and a coolant is used. Said process is executed in one block by commanding [S-1000M07]. Namely, the word S is an address indicating an S function (main spindle function), ''-'' (minus) commands the reversion (rotation in the counterclockwise direction) of the main spindle and ''1000'' commands the rotational frequency of the main spindle. Thus, the turning direction of the main spindle is expressed under the same S code together with the rotational frequency. Consequently, another M function to be unitedly cooperated can be processed together with the S function in the same block under the control of the rotational frequency and turning speed of the main spindle. |
