PURPOSE:To facilitate the sorting, totalizing and other operations after the printing by printing a sorting guide set corresponding to the type of form for a page at each page. CONSTITUTION:As data is provided into a printer to register a sorting guide, it is written into a RAM3 according to a program to secure a retrieving table for the sorting guide corresponding to various forms. When a printing command is given, the number of lines is counted sequentially for each page by a No. of lines counting means 11 simultaneously with the timing control of a printer driving 7. When the number of lines exceeds the specified value, the page is automatically turned over. According to form data for printing of the sorting guide, a printing is performed with the reading of the sorting guide corresponding to the type of the form involved. The visual inspection of the sorting guide facilitates the judgment of the type of form thereby smoothing the sorting and filing. |
