The pipe 1 is provided with a tubular branch tee 3 comprising an articulated cover 22, at the bottom part of the inspection chamber or manhole. The cover 22 may be manipulated by means of a handle 21 which is also articulated and which can be closed over and locked by the simple remote manipulation of a chain 33 from the top of the manhole 2. Remote manipulation of the cover 22, sealed closure of the branch tee 3 and quick emptying of the manhole 2 when it contains water outside the waters conveyed by the pipe 1. <IMAGE> |
