PURPOSE:To secure a foot placing base having a large area on the side of the front part of a rear cover by arranging a duct before a pivot shaft and between a pair of pivot brackets, thus reducing the lateral width of the front part of a power unit. CONSTITUTION:A power unit 30 is integrally formed of a 4-cycle engine 32, transmission apparatus 34, and rear wheels 36, and the front edge is connected to a chassis frame by a pivot shaft 78. A duct 90 for discharging engine cooling wind is connected to the left-side front surface of a cover 70 for an engine 32, and extends downward, passing through a space which is formed before the pivot shaft 78 and interposed between the right and left pivot trackets 80a and 80b. An exhaust pipe 92 passes before the pivot shaft 78 from the right side of the duct 90 and extends downward under a crankcase 52. Since the duct 90 is arranged, the lateral width of the front part of the power unit 30 is reduced. |
