PURPOSE:To provide a compsn. for binding metallic powder, which is suitable for use in the production of metallic powder moldings such as metallic sheets, by using a chief material having specified physical properties such as an acrylic polymer. CONSTITUTION:An org. solvent soln. contg. an acrylic copolymer having a weight-average MW of 50,000-1,500,000 composed of 80-99.5wt% 3-12C alkyl (meth)acrylate such as 2-ethylhexyl acrylate and 20-0.5wt% monomer contg. a functional group such as acrylic acid, as a chief material (glass transition temp.; -70--10 deg.C, modulus; 0.05-50kg/cm<2> at 25 deg.C) is used as a compsn. for binding metallic powder. Said acrylic copolymer may be used together with a bondable tackifying resin. Not more than 7pts.wt. (on a solid basis) said compsn. is mixed with 100pts.wt. metallic powder.
