PURPOSE:To obtain a beautiful molding with an excellent decorativeness efficiently in a simple and accurate manner by tilting a base body to make a liquid plastics fluidize and deform while a liquid plastics layer spreading over the surface of the base body remains fluid. CONSTITUTION:A liquid plastics 21 is made to flow and spread continuously over the strip surface 15 of a base body kept horizontal from a nozzle 30 or the like to form a layer 22. In this case, the end rim of the surface 15 is made a sharp square 19 to form a beautiful curved end 29 by a surface tension. Then, while the layer remains fluid, the surface thereof is preheated with an infrared lamp 35 or the like to harden it slightly and then, as the base body 11 is tilted in the course of the gelation, it fluidizes to one side and biased by gravity to form a bulged portion 25. The liquid plastics 21 is preferably a thermosetting one, such as a liquid polyurethane composition comprising polyole and diisocyanate. |
