PURPOSE:To provide an operating fluid compsn. contg. a specified polyol ether compd. in a specified proportion, having a high boiling point, a high wet boiling point, low swelling action upon rubber and excellent low temp. properties. CONSTITUTION:The operating fluid compsn. is prepd. by blending 50-95wt% at least one of polyoxyalkylene dialkyl ether, polyoxyalkylene monoalkyl ether acetal and triol ether of polyoxyalkylene monoalkyl ether, 1-50wt% at least one of polyoxyalkylene, polyoxyalkylene triol triester, pentaerythritol and tetrakis-polyoxyalkylene monoalkyl ether of pentaerythritol and 4-50wt% polyoxyalkylene monoalkyl ether [e.g. a mixt. of 85wt% [CH3O(EO)2.8(PO)0.9]2, 5wt% HO(EO)2H and 10wt% CH3O(EO)3H]. |
