PURPOSE:To obtain a high resolution when the copy of a film original is made, by scanning the original with a scanning unit equipped at least with a fixing device, transfer paper carrying device, photosensitive drum, and plural image forming elements arranged around the drum at a fixed speed synchronously to the rotational speed of the drum during the course of exposure. CONSTITUTION:When a scanning unit 10 reaches a carrying starting position, a pair of carrier rollers 13 and 14 are rotated and a transfer paper P is carried to make the front end of a picture image on a photosensitive drum 17 coincident with the front end of the transfer paper P. Then signals from an image forming monitor M1 are selected at a switching circuit 39 and the scanning unit 10 makes scan and exposure at a fixed speed synchronously to the rotational speed of the photosensitive drum 17. As the scanning operation of the scanning unit 10 proceeds, the picture of a microfilm O is successively exposed onto the photosensitive drum 17 through an exposure slit 19 and developed by image forming elements, and then, successively transferred onto the transfer paper P by a transfer charger 19. |
