PURPOSE:To attach an optical fiber easily even in a narrow recessed part without bending by making the incident light from an optical transmitter incident on one optical fiber through a polarizing splitter and providing a sensor part, which is subjected to prescribed processing, to the other end of the optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:One end of one optical fiber 4 where light is propagated back and forth is connected to a polarizing beam splitter 3 (or a half mirror) which permits an incident light (a) from an optical transmitter 1 to pass through and separates an exit light (b) and discharges this light to an optical receiver 2. One side face 6 of a semiconductor 5 in the side of the optical transmitter 1 in the sensor part provided in the other end side of the optical fiber 4 is subjected to nonreflective coating, and the other side face 6b in the opposite side is subjected to coating with a gold or dielectric multilayered reflective film. |
