PURPOSE:To shorten considerably the analysis processing time by providing a sample chamber, which is equipped with a container moving device which stores a cassette container internally and moves this cassette container vertically, and an analyzing chamber for analysis of samples. CONSTITUTION:A container moving device 3 which moves a cassette container 2 vertically is arranged in a sample chamber 1. An analyzing chamber 13 where the sample in a sample cassette 8 is analyzed is arranged adjacently to the sample chamber 1. The analyzing chamber 13 and the sample chamber 1 are connected airtightly by a passage part 14. In this automatic analyzer, for example, 20 sample cassettes 8 are stored in the cassette container 2, and a door of the sample chamber 1 is opened to put the cassette container 2 in a prescribed position on a fixed plate 5, and hereafter, sample cassettes 8 are analyzed successively. Thus, the analysis processing time is shortened considerably. |
