The safety ski binding has a front jaw body(1) provided with a sole holder for holding the ski boot There are two lateral movable wings (5) integral with the body (1) and connected to it by a resiliently deformable area (10) they can be adjusted relative to each other between a max. opening position and closing position by suitable adjustment members. The wings (5) are separated from the body (1) outside of the deformable area (10) by a gap (8) which extends from the deformable area (10) to the back of the body (1). The deformable area serves as an imaginary swivel axis for the wings relative to the body furing the adjustment procedure.
