PUMP OPERATION CONTROLLER

PURPOSE:To control a plurality of pumps efficiently by classifying them into small groups then obtaining the minimum shaft power for each group and operating such group as has the minimum shaft power selectively. CONSTITUTION:In this controller, all combinations for classifying N pumps into small groups of (r) pumps are prepared at first in a combination preparing section 3. Then necessary delivery Q0 information is distributed to respective group. Then the operating amounts of delivery and speed of pump to minimize the shaft power for respective group are obtained in the total shaft power calculating section 5 to compare the total shaft power of respective group obtained from said section 5 in the combination selecting section 6 thus to select such group as has the minimum total shaft power.
