PURPOSE:To confirm whether data input is locked with an external pressure such as a water pressure or the like or not and to confirm transferred data also by providing an external display device of data with an illuminating device controlled by a switch which is operated with the external pressure. CONSTITUTION:With respect to an illumination driving circuit C of an external display liquid crystal panel 10, if an input lock button switch 15 is turned off, input button switches 13a and 13b are turned on simultaneously, and the output of an AND gate 30 goes to the high level, and an NPN transistor (TR) 33 is turned on, and a lamp 36 is driven by a DC and is lit brightly. If the input lock button switch 15 is turned on, an NPN TR34 is turned off when an NPN TR35 is turned on, but the NPN TR34 is turned on when the NPN TR35 is turned off, and the lamp 36 is driven by 50% duty cycle and is lit darkly. If the input button switch 13a or 13b is turned on at this time, outputs of an NAND gate 19 and an OR gate 20 go to the high level, and therefore, the output of the AND gate goes to the high level, and the lamp 36 is driven with a DC by the NPN TR33 and is lit brightly. Thus, a user confirms data input to a data transfer device by a touch of button switches 13a and 13b and bright lighting of the indicator lamp 36.
