PURPOSE:To obtain an earthquake-proof, durable, resource-saving and energy- saving residence without ventilating holes under the floor, by connecting a space under the floor to an attic space through a heat exchanging duct. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of ventilating holes 1 are set in an attic space 8. A set of pressure ducts 3 are connected to heat exchanging ducts 4 against ventilating holes through heat insulating ducts 5. A dust 7 is opened to the attic space 8, and a duct 6 is opened to a space 9 under the floor. An unfloored part under the floor is protected from moisture by connecting the space 9 under the floor and the attic space 8 to an external wall hollow 10 and a partition hollow 11. A continuous footing without ventilating holes under the floor is sufficiently resistant to earthquake. In summer, dry heat in the attic space 8 is discharged to the leeward through an opened damper 2 and outside cool air drawn on the windward circulates through the external wall hollow 10 and the partition hollow 11. Open air is taken in through the pressure ducts 3 on the windward, and the air in the space 9 under the floor is heat-exchanged by the ducts 4 and is discharged through the pressure ducts 3 on the leeward. In winter, the damper 2 is sealed and keeps the interior warm.
