PURPOSE:To decrease the number of cables together with reduction of cost and improvement of working efficiency for an underwater sonde incorporating an accumulator, by attaching an insulated terminal and an earth terminal 1 to the container of the sonde and attaining both data transmission and charging without opening a cover. CONSTITUTION:A watertight container containing a data measurement part 18 is set under water to collect data at each prescribed depth. Then the data and earth terminal of a data reception part 1 and a data measurement part 18 are connected to each other via cables 16 and 17 on a ship or on the land. For charging a switch 4 of the part 1 is switched to a contact B to supply the 16V power of a charging power supply 6 to an accumulator 36 via the cable 16. For data transmission the switch 4 is changed to a contact C and a push-button 7 is turned on and off. Thus the -12V voltage is intermittent to turn on and off a transistor 25 of a data transmission start signal generating circuit. Then the collector potential of the transistor 25 is varied. A data storing circuit 22 is controlled by the data transmission start signal and transmits the stored data to a data transmission part 23. These data are sent to the part 1 via the cable 16. |
