The invention relates to a drilling apparatus for mining, in particular for use in thin seams, consisting of a drill cradle arranged in an articulated manner on a vertically adjustable supporting framework and having a drilling machine displaceable thereon, in which arrangement the drilling apparatus can be put onto a face conveyor and secured to the latter. To permit cradled drilling even in thin seams using a drilling machine which only needs a little space, the supporting framework is to be accommodated in a trough, the cross-section of which is adapted to the free cross-section of the face conveyor, and the drill cradle is to have at least one clamping device for connection to the face conveyor.
