PURPOSE:To guide the moving body stably by providing an electrooptic device which adjusts the transmissibility of incident light on the front surface of an image pickup device, and making an adjustment so that a normal image signal is obtained. CONSTITUTION:Marks 4 provided on a run path 2 are detected by the image pickup device 6a and a steering mechanism 7, etc., are controlled through a data processing part 12 and a control part 11 on the basis of the detection to guide and run a carrier car along its expected run path. This image pickup device 6a is provided with the electrooptic device (optical shutter) 50 which is adjustable with the amount of an electric signal as to the quantity of transmitted light, and an adjusting signal is applied from an image processing part 30 through a feeding part 60. The image processing part 30 processes an image from the image pickup device 6a during a run and stores the result in video memory 33, and an image processor 32 reads it out and calculates and outputs the quantity of state of the run to a control arithmetic part 20. Further, the running speed is detected by a detector 17, and utilized for feedback control and also supplied to the image processing part 30 for an adjustment of the quantity of light. |
