PURPOSE:To shorten the overhead time of a computer by inputting all data which are generated by input operation with one read request signal. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard input controller 31 writes data from a keyboard input device 2 in a buffer 32. When the computer 1 specified the length of data through a signal line 7 and a read request signal is inputted, the keyboard input controller 31 reads the data out of the buffer 32 and sends it to the computer 1 through a data line 8. The data read out of the buffer 32 is erased from the buffer 32. If there is the data having the specified length found, the data is not written in the buffer 32 successively after a key-in input from the keyboard device 2. Then, all written data are read out in the writing order and sent to the computer 1.
