The device is aimed at providing integrated circuits with efficient shielding against electromagnetic perturbation while producing effective decoupling from the power supply. The device consists of a component forming a capacitor integrated directly with the housing of the integrated circuit. The component consists of two parallel plane conductors each having a surface area substantially equal to that of the main surface of the integrated circuit. Each plane conductor is connected electrically to the corresponding power supply terminal pin of the integrated circuit. The two plane conductors are separated by a dielectric element. The device can equally well be used for integrated circuit supports as for the integrated circuits themselves.
