PURPOSE:To attain a high speed plotting even when a slow speed memory element is employed by dividing a frame memory into plural banks and constituting such that dots in the vicinity of a plotting point can be addressed at separate banks. CONSTITUTION:When the frame memory is expressed with a two-dimensional plane, its one side constituted of (mXn+1) words is divided into n-number of independently movable banks, and (n-1)-numbered bank is addressed by lXn+(n-1). Writing actions of plural dots belonging to different banks are executed in parallel, and the high speed plotting can be carried out by the frame memory constituted of the memory element having slow write and read speeds. |
