MULTI-PEDESTAL WINCH SYSTEM

A multi-pedestal winch system with foot operable clutch control push buttons (14, 16 and 18). When one of these clutch control push buttons (14, 16 and 18) is depressed, disconnecting its associated clutch (8, 10 and 12) separating the port and starboard winches from the drive pedestals or separating the drive pedestals one from another, the remaining buttons are released by the sliding motion of the plate (30) against the bias of the spring (34) automatically reconnecting the previously disconnected clutches. Use of the winch system will save time in connecting the winch pedestals and winches in their desired drive configurations.
