Sentence construction trainer (learning aid)

A learning aid for individual independent work by a pupil enables him to form sentences. The device contains a sequence of hollow cylinders or rollers (or similar hollow or solid prisms), on which phrases are printed in the manner of lists, arranged in a frame. Sentences can be assembled by rotating the cylinders. A colour-coded table of question words on the frame enables the pupil to ascertain the phrases and determine their type. The device permits a large number of sentence combinations. It replaces the boxes and card indexes used for reading instruction and sentence construction, and has the advantage of "integrity", that is to say it is a complete learning aid without additional loose tiles, dice, cards or similar loose accessories which are often confused or lost. The sentence construction trainer is thus ready for use at any time, and interruptions of work create no problem. No clearing up, sorting or similar additional work is necessary.
