The invention relates to a connector for hollow profiles, in particular hollow spacer profiles for insulating glass panes, in the form of a longitudinal connector or corner connector (2). In order to achieve a tighter fit of the connector legs (5) in the pushed-on hollow profiles, the legs (5) have lateral retention noses (7) in addition to or instead of the upper retention noses (6). The lateral retention noses (7) are designed as resilient tongues or corners (11) which project counter to the insertion direction and, when the hollow profiles are pushed on, position themselves against the side walls of the hollow profiles in a clamping fit.
