The invention relates to a suspended balance with a rigidly mounted balance housing, with a pendulously suspended load pan and with a weighing device arranged between the load pan and the balance housing. For the purpose of an automatic adaptation of the position of the weighing device when the oblique mounting of the balance housing changes, the weighing device is a weighing cell which is pendulously mounted in the balance housing and on the force introduction member of which the load pan is suspended.
