摘要 |
<p>PURPOSE:To offer a vector quantizing/coding device which converts the input signal series into digital codes with high efficiency after quantizing said signal series every plural units in a multi-dimensional signal space. CONSTITUTION:Both the 1st and 2nd input signal series AK46 and BK49 of two channels which are sampled at a time are compared with the output of a ladder circuit 1 respectively by a double channel parallel comparator 60 and then converted into level display signals of binary 1 and 0 corresponding well-definedly to each level of channels through a double channel suppressing circuit 61 for comparator output set lower than a prescribed level of each channel. Then those level display signals are converted into vector level display signals 95-102 every plural units by a nonlinear coder 62 and then apply D (d2, d1 and d0) in the form of vector quantizing/coding outputs 103-105 through a coding circuit 4 which executes the binary code conversion.</p> |
