The invention relates to an energy generating system with a fixed bed pressure reactor, in which coal is gasified, with a gas-heated steam generator connected on its output side, the steam from which drives a steam turbo generator set and the supercharged flue gases of which drive a gas turbine generator set, and with a device for purification of the gas coming from the fixed bed pressure reactor. This device has hitherto been a wet cleaning plant, which among other things has the disadvantage that the temperature of the gas is greatly reduced, thereby causing large energy losses. By contrast, the invention proposes to form this device from one or more cyclones and thereby to perform dry cleaning, which ensures essentially less cooling of the gas and at the same time permits direct further use of the dry dust by returning it to the inlet side of the fixed bed pressure reactor. The system thereby affords good overall efficiency and can function cost effectively.
