发明名称 ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC COATED CARRIER
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent a photographic fog of a high-resistance developer by using a spherical magnetite or ferrite as a core material and allowing a coating resin to contain a phenolic resin. CONSTITUTION:The spherical magnetite or ferrite is used as the core material of a carrier. It is desirable that the particle size of the core material is 20-200mu and the phenolic resin used as a coating material has >=70 deg.C melting point. It is desirable that 5-65wt% phenol resin is included in a coated resin layer and the resin coating layer is 0.05-2.0wt% to the core. The carrier constituted in this manner is superior in antifogging capacity of pictures, and a toner is not stuck on sleeves of magnet rolls even if the developer has a high resistance, and the picture density, the antifogging capacity, the quantity of electrification, and the stability with time of the electric resistance are improved considerably.
