Compounds of the formula <IMAGE> in which A, X and Y denote, inter alia, alkyl, X and Y together also denote spirocycloalkyl; Z is hydrogen, (substituted) alkyl, alkenyl, propargyl, benzyl, an acyl, alkylcarbonyl, alkylsulphonyl, phenylsulphonyl or (substituted) carbamoyl radical and R<1> to R<4> denote hydrogen or various substituents, such as alkyl, halogen, NO2 or CN, are valuable herbicides and growth regulators.
