PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and the assembly/adjustment of a dual mode type cylindrical cavity resonator by using an input and output coupling loops having a 90 deg. difference between their faces and a common coupling capacity element having a 45 deg. difference to each coupling loop. CONSTITUTION:This antenna sharing system consists of a cylindrical cavity resonator main body 1, an input (output) coupling loop 4 for H mode wave (frequency fH), an input (output) coupling loop 5 for V mode wave (frequency fV and fHnot equal to fV) and a common coupling capacity element 8. A 90 deg. difference is secured between a loop face where the loop 4 crosses a magnetic field and a loop face where the loop 5 crosses the magnetic field respectively. At the same time, a 45 deg. difference is secured between each loop face of both loops 4 and 5 and the element 8. An antenna feeder is connected to the element 8, and a transmitter or a receiver is connected to the loops 4 and 5. Thus it is possible to obtain an antenna sharing system for double waves. |
