PURPOSE:To automatically perform the detection of a cleaning and regeneration period of the lowering in a wind amount, by arranging a wind velocity detection apparatus in an air passage equipped with an ionic wind generation part. CONSTITUTION:A wind velocity detection apparatus 10 consists of a heat- sensitive resistor 11 for detecting wind velocity, a heat-sensitive resistor 12 for compensating temp., resistors 13, 14, 17, a comparator 15, a light emitting diode 16 and a power source 18 are the heat-sensitive resistor 11 is arranged in a case 7 being an air passage. The lowering in a wind amount due to the increase in collected dust of an ionic wind or the accumulation of dust to the air passage is detected by the wind velocity detection apparatus 10 and a cleaning period is displayed by the light emitting diode 16. In this case, if the heat- sensitive resistor 11 for detecting wind velocity is provided behind the air permeable conductor 4b in the side of an air blow port 6, the adhesion of dust to the heat-sensitive resistor 11 is eliminated and, because the effect of the high electric field between electrodes 3, 2 is not received, stable and certain operation is secured.
