A pill box comprising compartments which are subdivided by partitions, and a tight lid with ribs, is designed with a downwardly open, inner, rotationally symmetrical hollow space delimited by conical surfaces and a surface which is parallel to the floor of the box.
<??>The box can be used to house, for example, the daily dose of pills in three compartments in the lid. The entire box can be carried along as a pocket-sized packaging and at the same time it can be used by the user as a key requiring little force by the fingers or arms when opening the pill box.
