An envelope in the DIN long format for delivering official documents with an individual certificate of delivery, to be completed by the delivering official, enclosed contains two pockets separated from each other by a partition, the first, which is to receive the official document, being closable on the long side by a closure flap, and the second pocket, for removing the individual certificate of delivery, being opened at a narrow side of the envelope. In this arrangement, the envelope is formed by folding an individually punched T-shaped sheet of paper.
