The invention relates to a device for adjusting and securing the cover and the safety bar on multi-purpose children's pushchairs. Whilst the objective is to reduce the risk of injury to the child and to simplify handling, the aim is to arrange the elements in such a way that even when the fixing mechanisms are covered the function is assured. In order to receive a cover support tube and a safety bar consisting of a tube or round steel element, a receptacle tube is arranged on the armrest. Fixing mechanisms in each case for the cover support tube and the safety bar are arranged on the two sides of the receptacle tube. <IMAGE>
