Preparation of chlorophenylphosphine (oxides) I ClmP(O)nPh3-m (Ph = phenyl; m = 1 or 2; n = 0 or 1) by heating triphenylphosphine oxide a) for the preparation of all compounds I, with phosphorus trichloride or b) for the preparation of those compounds I in which n represents 1, with phosphorus oxychloride to 300-500 DEG C in the mainly liquid phase.
