The log-cabin wall comprises an inner timberwork and an outer timberwork (10) which are separated from each other by an interspace (11). This interspace can receive insulating material. In order to connect the two timberworks, multi-part supports are provided which engage in dovetail-shaped grooves. Since the supports comprise a number of parts, the two timberworks (10) are considerably easier to assemble and a very solid wall (9) is nevertheless obtained. <IMAGE>
