摘要 PURPOSE:To aim at enhancing the exhausting performance, fuel comsumption, and drive ability of an engine, by providing an air-fuel ratio compensating means for compensating the air-fuel of the engine to make zero the difference between a desired value set by a desired value determining means and a detected value detected by an air-fuel ration detecting means. CONSTITUTION:Fuel in an amount which is determined by a fuel feed amount determining means A, is fed as a mixture with intake-air into cylinders of an internal combustion engine B. An air-fuel ratio detecting means detects an air- fuel ratio in accordance with the concentration of oxygen in an exhaust passage. A desired value detecting means D determines the desired value of air-fuel ratio. An air-fuel ratio compensating means E compensates the air-fuel ratio to make zero the difference between the desired value which is selected by the desired value determining means G and a detected value by the air-fuel ratio detecting means C. With this arrangement, the air-fuel ratio may be controlled to have an optimum value with a high degree of accuracy, the exhausting performance, fuel consumption and drive ability of the engine may be enhanced.
