METHOD AND DEEP WELL FOR EXTRACTING GEOTHERMAL ENERGY

Method and deep well for extracting geothermal energy wherein the geothermal energy is extracted from the well depth by a heat conveying agent and transported to the surface. After extraction of the heat, the heat conveying agent is returned under pressure into the earth for environment protection reasons. The basic gist of the invention comprises extracting the conveyor agent from the earth and returning it under pressure by the same well. The upward and downward circulation currents of the conveying agent are firmely insulated from each other. The heat conveying agent is returned under pressure into a ground layer which is optionally separated from the extraction layer of the conveying agent by means of an insulating layer preventing the direct hydraulic contact of both layers in the well area but optionally enabling it at a large horizontal distance about the well.
