PURPOSE:To supplement toner without scattering it by peeling a seal member off the opening of a toner container by the movement of the cover of the toner container. CONSTITUTION:The toner cartridge 1 is fitted at a supplementation position and then the cover 3 is moved away from the container 2 to an open position in the direction of an arrow A until a stopper projection part 3b engages a stopper pin 2f. In this case, when the cover 3 is drawn to the front by gripping the front end wall 3c, the opening 2c is half-opened to allow toner 5 to fall in a lower-side storage part. The opening part 2c, however, is in the half-open state, so the seal member 4 is drawn to the front by gripping an exposed grip member 4c to separate the upper half part 4a of the member and discharge the remaining toner 5, and the member 4 is pulled up onto the surface of the cover 3 beyond a rear part slot 3d. |
