PURPOSE:To reduce the work cutting time and improve working accuracy by reducing the load applied onto a blade and reducing the eccentric abrasion of the blade itself by automatically adjusting the cutting load during the time ranging from the start of cutting of a workpiece to the completion of the cutting work. CONSTITUTION:A lapping cutter 1 consists of a blade 5 stroke-amount varying apparatus 10, blade-speed controller 20, worktable vertically vibrating apparatus 30, cutting-load controller 40, detecting and recording apparatus 50, etc. In the cutting-load controller 40, one edge of a raising arm 101 connected to a worktable 4 is pivotally supported onto a shaft 104, which forms the center of revolution of the raising arm 101. The control of the cutting load for a workpiece W is carried-out by driving a pulse motor 42 by the instruction supplied from the controller and adjusting the position of a weight G. When cutting is started, the cutting load is recorded into the detecting and recording apparatus 50 installed onto a shaft 104 and feedback-controlled into the controller and corrected, and then work is performed. |
