PURPOSE:To produce a clad material with min. rolling force by providing angles of inclination to the side faces of flat plates consisting of the metallic materials to be joined to each other and press-welding the materials by upper, lower, right and left four-way rolls. CONSTITUTION:The angles of inclinations in the joint parts are designated respectively Q1, Q2 in the case of joining the other kind of metals 1, 1 to both side faces of a metallic material 2 to be press-welded. The two metallic materials 1, 2 are disposed between upper and lower rolls 10, 10 for press-welding the metallic materials and right and left sandwiching rolls 20, 20, by which the materials are rolled. The shift and build-up of the joint parts are thus prevented and the expansion in the width of the blank material is prevented by both right and left rolls 20, 20. The materials are thus effectively joined. |
