PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of inspection by running a running part which has flexible structure for running an inspection probe smoothly even at a bent tube part with jet propulsion. CONSTITUTION:The internal surface of a tube 10 to be inspected is inspected by the inspection probe 20 inserted into the tube and a jet propulsion mechanism 30 which drives and scans the inspection probe 20 axially in the tube. The jet propulsion mechanism 30 is connected to a jet blast air compressor 70 through a flexible pipe 60. Frictional force against the tube wall is reduced by adding a guide roller, etc., to the flexible pipe 60 and a signal line. Further, the inspection probe 20 uses flexible structure to run more smoothly in the tube. The running speed of the inspection probe 20 is detected by a position and speed detection part 90, whose signal is sent out to a speed control part 100 and the pressure of the air compressing mechanism part 70 is controlled with a signal proportional to deviation from a specified speed. Inspection data is processed by a data processing part 80. |
