PURPOSE:To simplify construction without adverse influence by reflection of laser light by providing undercuts to each honeycomb panel on the side opposite from the side where laser light is irradiated, fixing doubling plates to the undercuts and joining said plates to chains. CONSTITUTION:A material to be worked is imposed atop a honeycomb panel 10 and laser light is irradiated thereto from above said work. Except the ends of the panel 10 in the longitudinal direction thereof doubling plates 12A, 12B are not directly exposed on the surface. The laser light after cutting the material to be worked is therefore advanced while said light is reflected by the side faces in the panel 10. The light entering the central part of the panel 10 out of the laser light advances straightly downward but the ligh entering the side parts of the panel 10 arrives at the plates 12A, 12B. However the beam expands the diameter and loses substantially the intensity thereof at the time when the beam arrives at the plates 12A, 12B and therefore the plates 12A, 12B are kept free from damage. The laser light reflected by the plates 12A, 12B is also substantially weakened and the trouble occuring in such light is obviated. |
