PURPOSE:The titled exothermic resistance having improved mild temperature gradient in the direction of pulling shaft and in the direction of crucible diameter, and mechanical strength, obtained by providing a face of a crucible side of a wide wall part with a finite curvature. CONSTITUTION:The side wall part 13 having a finite curvature on a face of a crucible side in the slit direction 18 is integrated with the electrode part 15 through the bottom part 14 and the electrode connecting part 17, to form a series of electric wire of resistance heating element connecting one electrode to the other. Consequently, high-quality single crystal having extremely low transition density and uniform distribution of the transition density in a wide range can be prepared. |
