In order to eliminate the sensitivity of such a sensor, which has a packing (18) which is composed of shrinkable ion exchanger resin and which has a single free surface over which a piston (22) and a flat membrane (20) are arranged, to piston lifting forces which are not generated by the resin, such as elevating forces owing to gas bubbles in the water which trickles through the resin, it is proposed to provide that the membrane (20) ties continuously on the free surface of the resin, and the piston (22) is continuously positioned on the resin packing (18), the piston (22) having a considerably higher specific gravity than water and being located on the membrane (20) (Fig. 1). <IMAGE> |
