PURPOSE:To make possible a high-accuracy positioning by controlling the movement of the nut of a ball screw shaft by use of the sum of or the difference between the rotations of two stepping motors and by feeding the ball nut against the ball screw shaft at minute or rapid speed. CONSTITUTION:A minute and rapid speed feeding mechanism consists of a moving table 4 which is supported on a fixed bed 1 to be movable in the axial direction, a ball screw shaft 7 which is supported on the fixed bed 1 to be movable in the rotational direction and fixed in the axial direction, and a ball nut 29 which is screwed to the ball screw shaft 7 through a steel ball and fitted to the moving table 4 to be movable in the rotational and axial directions. Additionally, it is equipped with a stepping motor 13 which is fixed to the fixed bed 1 to drive the ball screw shaft 7, and a stepping motor 53 which is fixed to the moving table 4 and operated and screwed to the ball nut 29 through interlocking mechanisms 47, 49. |
