PURPOSE:To simplify the device by detecting and displaying the remaining amount of fuel in a fuel tank, and display the running distance by which the car runs with the remaining fuel when the detected remaining amount decreases below a specific value. CONSTITUTION:Data on the remaining amount inputted to an A/D converter 8 varies as the fuel is consumed, and the digital signal of the A/D converter 8 varies in the order of decimal numbers (7, 6...1) to display the variation in the remaining amount of fuel successively. When the remaining amount of fuel decreases below the specific value, the reference voltage of a reference voltage generating circuit is varied with the detection signal of the 2nd sensor 9 which detects the decrease, and segments are turned on again. Those segments 1101- 110n turns off again successively from the high-order segment, so the running distance with the remaining fuel is estimated roughly from the turn-on state of segments 1111-111n which display the running distance. |
