PURPOSE:To improve the test efficiency by providing a supporting board slidable in parallel with the carrying direction of machine to be tested in a device for automatically clamping various type of machines to be tested and clamping said machine only through sliding of said supporting board. CONSTITUTION:In an automatic clamping device 3, a slide supporting board 16 slidable in parallel with the carrying direction of machine 13 to be tested is provided on the vertical face at one side of slide table 3a slidable perpendicularly with the carrying direction of said machine 13 having various dimension where a plurality of clamp base seats 20A, 20B having various dimensions while fixed dismountably on said slide supporting board 16 are faced selectively against said machine 13 and clamped to said seats 20A, 20B by means of a clamp lever 9. The clamp lever 9 is operated by hydraulic cylinder 6 mounted on the slide base 3a to press said machine 13 against said seats 20A, 20B and clamp. The slide supporting board 16 is supported through a slidable bearing 15 movable horizontally along a guiderail 15a.
