PURPOSE:To display an error in order to eliminate a trouble at a user and also to perform the proper processing by reading the data on a prescribed address area of a memory part when a power supply is turned on, and if the read-out data is not equal to the prescribed data, then deciding that a back-up circuit part has a fault. CONSTITUTION:A control arithmetic part reads the data on a specific address of a memory part 5b in a power supply application mode. If the value of the read- out data is equal to the value of A, B, etc. other than 0-9, for example, or the specific data is not regenerated, a back-up fault detecting function part 5a detects a back-up circuit part does not work normally during a service interruption and therefore no power is supplid to the part 5b. Then the data that displays ''E0'', for example, to a digital display part 3 under the control of a display data transfer function part 5e. Thus the ''E0'' is displayed to inform the expiration of a battery or a capacitor to a user. |
